Education
Maya adapts her teaching to each student's natural learning style, by ear, by feel, or by the page, so every lesson feels personal, not formulaic. She has taught at the Royal Conservatory, Beaches, and Miles Nadal Suzuki Schools, blending Suzuki training with real world performance experience.
Performances
A veteran of the Canadian music scene, Maya has performed with Sarah McLachlan and The Arkells, is a regular on the Juno's, and has played hundreds of weddings across Canada. She's also an in demand singer, arranger, and composer for film, TV, and recording.
